ANAPANASATI MEDITATION

Close your eyes take all the time you need to get comfortable shift muscle stretch and relax spine and neck are relaxed...not held stiffly there is no stiffness here just comfort ... the beginning of calm ... there is no hurry now there is nothing else to do ... or think about ... just pure relaxation. Be the Breath.

                               INHALE softly, easily..
                                EXHALE softly, easily
let your breath be a rhythm of calm
your breath is a rhythm of calm
                              follow your breath
                                         Be Calm
                                  BE WITH YOUR BREATH
                                      use your mind to follow
                      your breath
in ... out ... in ... out
that is all
Be Still
BE WITH YOUR BREATH
be with your breath-energy
Anapanasati Meditation is so simple ..
so very easy .. not at all difficult

Meditation can be done
by any one at any age at any time.

Meditation should be done regularly ... every day meditation should be done .. as per one's age in terms of so many minutes ..
e.g., twenty minutes .. if your age is twenty years .. forty minutes .. if your age is forty years and so on and so forth

Spiritual health is root and Physical Health is the fruit.
Anapanasati Meditation alone gives Spiritual Health to a person
Meditation is the greatest gift to be given to our lives .. by our own efforts.

The physical body has its own natural and easy rhythm of the breath. In meditation, the mind has to become totally attuned to the normal rhythmic nature of the breath of the physical body.

vegetarianism

Vegetarianism is absolutely essential for spiritual life. In fact, spirituality and vegetarianism are synonymous. EVERY BODY HAS TO BECOME A VEGETARIAN. Quantum vibrational science is slowly recognizing the ill effects of animal food in human systems. The cardinal principle of any religious movement is love. Love is nothing other than being kind to our co-animal-beings of the earth. ANIMALS ARE NOT FOOD FOR HUMANS.
Further, we can’t afford to over eat. We should eat only according to our need ... not according to our greed. Only when we are hungry, we may eat. If you are not hungry, you should never eat. -Brahmarshi Patriji

Arthur E. Powell ... of the Theosophical Society ... has beautifully said the following :
" A physical body nourished on impure food will produce a correspondingly impure astral body, whilst a physical body fed on clean food and drink will help to purify the astral vehicle. "
" It is impossible to make the physical body coarse and at the same time to organize the astral and mental bodies for finer purposes ... neither is it possible to have a pure physical body with impure mental and astral bodies. All three bodies are thus inter-dependent. "
" Carnivorous diet is fatal to anything like real occult development, and those who adopt it are throwing serious and unnecessary difficulties in their own way, for flesh blood intensifies all the undesirable elements and passions of the lower planes. "

" And the flesh of slain beasts in his body will become his own tomb. For I tell you truly, he who kills, kills himself, and who so eats the flesh of slain beasts, eats the body of death. "
                                                                                                                           - Jesus Christ

" Everyone in the business : the one who abets, the one who cuts, the one who kills, the one who sells, the one who prepares, the one who eats ... all are killers ! "
                                           - Sri Krishna

" For fear of causing terror to living beings ... let the Bodhisattva who is disciplining himself to attain compassion refrain from eating flesh ! "
                                                                                                                                 - Gautama Buddha

" God doesn't like the flesh and blood that you offer as sacrifice. He expects nothing but your absolute faith ."
                                                                                         Quran

" People who eat meat are responsible for all the pain that grows out of meat-eating, and which is necessitated by the use of sentient animals as food. "
                                                                                 - Annie Besant

" It is both auspicious and peaceful for people to choose vegetarinism. "
                                                                                  -Albert Einstein

" As long as there are slaughter houses, there will be battle fields. A vegetarian diet is the acid test of humanitarianism "
                                                                                 - Leo Tolstoy

" The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. "
                                                                                - Mahatma Gandhi

" To feed on death is to become food for death. To live by other's pain is to become a prey for pain. So has decreed the omni-will. Know that and choose your course "

what is meditation

Meditation is silencing the incessant chatter of the restless mind for that ... we ... begin ... with ... the ... breath. The process of meditation is simple - Close your eyes and be with your natural breath. Meditation silences the restless waves of mind, thereby preserving soul energy leading to good health, peace of mind and wisdom of life. Meditation done inside a pyramid, or underneath a pyramid, is called as Pyramid Meditation. You can get more information through: www.pssmovement.org

How to meditate and what are the benifits of pyramid meditation

What are the Benefits of Meditation?

I’ve been meditating twice a day for the past 9 years because I enjoy it. It may seem strange, but I feel happiest when sitting in perfect silence. The experience is difficult to express in words. It is akin to the “peace that passeth understanding”. It is also true that every meditation is not the same. Sometimes meditation is a struggle to control the mind, while at other times it feels effortless.
These are some of the benefits of meditation:
  1. Improved concentration – A clear mind makes you more productive, especially in creative disciplines like writing.
  2. Less bothered by little things – Do you sometimes allow yourself to get upset by little things? It is the nature of the mind to magnify small things into serious problems. Meditation helps us detach. We learn to live in the here and now, rather than worrying about the past or future. We do not worry about meaningless things, but see the bigger picture.
  3. Better Health – There have been numerous studies pointing to the health benefits of meditation. The reason is that meditation reduces stress levels and alleviates anxiety. If we can reduce stress, many health benefits follow.
  4. Knowledge of Self – Meditation enables us to have a deeper understanding of our inner self. Through meditation we can gain a better understanding of our life’s purpose.

Is Meditation Religious?

The great thing about meditation is that our philosophy/religious belief is not importanct. Meditation is about consciousness. The beliefs of the mind become trivial. We dive deep into the heart of the matter to gain access to our soul – our inner reality. Therefore, mediation can (and is ) practiced by people of different religions or no religion.
But I don’t have time To Meditate
Many people like the idea of meditation, but feel they don’t have enough time. When you really want to do something you can find time. Get up earlier or watch 30 minutes less TV. Meditation requires an investment of time, but clearing the mind makes the the rest of the day more productive. Nothing is better than the feeling of inner peace. What is the point in being tremendously busy but unable to enjoy it? Meditation is not about retreating from the world; it gives us inspiration. Whatever you do, if you have peace of mind, your work will be more enjoyable and productive.

How To Meditate

Like anything worthwhile, meditation requires practice. To get the most from meditation you need to do it every day. This requires a place and time where you will not be disturbed. Check out this cool mindmap pdf for inspiration: meditation.pdf
  1. Sit with a straight back. Don’t try to meditate lying down because you are likely to fall asleep. Meditation brings relaxation and peace but at the same time this is a dynamic peace. Meditation is quite different than the relaxation of sleep. When we really meditate, we are fully alert and conscious. Our sense of awareness is heightened. Afterwards you’ll have a positive feeling for the world and a renewed sense of dynamism.
  2. Don’t eat before meditating. After a heavy meal your body will be lethargic with digestion.
  3. It is not necessary to mediate in the lotus posture. It is fine to meditate in a chair, as long as the back is straight.
  4. It is helpful to take a shower before meditating.
  5. Burning incense and having a candle are not necessary, but they can add a little extra inspiration.
  6. It is good to meditate early in the morning. It is said the best time is 3am, although, I feel it is more important to be awake and not sleepy, I meditate at 6.30am.you can get more in http://www.pyramidmeditation.org/benefits.html

About pyramid meditation

A pyramid is any three dimensional polyhedron where the faces other than the base are triangular. Pyramids help to harmonize our environment and to charge crystals.

Here Ganesha tries to illustrate the effects of meditating inside a Pyramid or with a small Pyramid placed on your body.

In recent years, Pyramidology has experienced renaissance in fame. The pyramid shape itself is being seen as a supernatural source of power or energy of the Universe. The pyramid power has become the primary focus of everything from veterinarian concerns to extraterrestrial messages.

As Ganesha has explained in previous articles, the entire Pyramid system is based on the Vedic Astrological concept. Pyramid Geometry attracts all available positive energy particles from its surrounding. If we use it in correctly, it showers good health, wealth and prosperity on us. Here I present different ways of generating the fields. The use of a pyramid in meditation can give rise to feelings of calmness, wellbeing and a more open and a positive attitude. Many users claim increased memory recall, visions of past incarnations, telepathic communication and an expansion of awareness, by the use of this technique. Ganesha suggests that the best results are achieved by sitting in a North facing direction. For better health, one must sit facing the East. If the Meditation is being done for having wealth in future, he/she must sit North-East facing direction. The pyramid is a geometric amplifier which increases the power of prayer or strengthens the spiritual request of a religious devotee. Ganesha also suggest chanting the respective Mantra for the same. It is better to do healing by Reiki, Crystal Therapy, Color Therapy, Yoga, Pranayam, etc.

The idea that a simple geometric shape or drawing could generate an energy field seems absurd at first glance. Well it works, it really does. It’s truly amazing and there is no any side effect of using this.

But, there are several important things to be kept in mind while experimenting with Pyramids. I would like to thank our seers and sages who have provided us this ancient and sacred knowledge.

1)When you are doing Meditation under pyramid, remember that it should be 4 times higher and bigger than you.
2)Another question is what type of materials should you use? Ganesha will strictly recommend to avoid Plastic, Plaster of Paris and Bricks of cheap kind of material. It may harm your nervous system. Those all materials which are considered sacred and which can be used to make God’s icon are suggested. These materials are Sacred Tree’s wood, Panchdhatu, Sacred rocks like marble, crystals, rose quartz, etc.
3)If you are doing Meditation in Shavasana, use crystal pyramids.
4)Be cautious in using colorful pyramids. If you don’t have any idea of Color Therapy, kindly take advice of your consultant.
5)Do not ever wear tight and colorful clothes during the Meditation.
6)Make your Meditation room free from electronic appliances. You can have a small tape recorder or a CD player to listen Meditation music or Mantra.
7)You can use Pyramid cap while reading, learning, cooking, resting etc.
8)Pyramid transfers Cosmic energy into human body, so remove leather and metal material from your surroundings.
9)Put photographs and idols of your Deity in Meditation Room. It will make the atmosphere more positive.
10)Keep the room neat and clean always.
11)Keep the area neat and clean out side the Pyramid.
12)Never wear shoes, sandals, or floaters while entering the Meditation room.
13)As stated above, Pyramid transfers Cosmic and Universal Life Force energy into human body, it is advisable for kids (below 3 years) and pregnant ladies to not to stay more than 20 minutes in Pyramid room.
14)Always sit towards positive direction as stated above in second paragraph.
15)Always sit on a carpet / woolen mat of saffron color.
16)You are advised to be thankful to your Parents, God, Prakriti (Nature) and Cosmic Energy of Pyramid before commencing the Mediation.
17)Ganesha will allow you to do Yoga into Pyramid.
18)Students can study well into a Pyramid.

Conclusion:

Your pyramidal meditation room should be four times higher and bigger than you and should be very neat. Place the idol of your deity in the room and do not enter the room with your shoes on. Pregnant ladies and small kids should not spend more time in the mediation room and students can make best use of this room.
